Scope of work

Access opening and removal of inter-wall insulation
Replacement and repair of inner-tank floor and shell plates
NDT, vacuum-box, hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
Insulation reinstatement and TGS/LDS system repair
Installation and pre-commissioning of the cryogenic LPG loading and circulating pumps
Execution and communication testing of the DCS, ESD, MCC and fire and gas systems
Pre-commissioning and commissioning of the dry-chemical extinguishing package
Tank calibration and performance certification with third-party attendance

Double-wall LPG storage tanks

A double-wall LPG storage tank pairs an inner tank holding the refrigerated product with an outer tank that provides protection, structural support, insulation containment and — depending on the selected design — secondary containment.
