Project overview
Parsian Gas Refinery is an inland natural-gas processing refinery in Fars Province, southern Iran. Sanat Khat va Palayesh (SKP) supplies the refinery's metering systems, with the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company as main employer and Tarh Andishan Consulting Engineers as consultant.
SKP delivers the metering systems as engineered packages and carries them through inspection and testing to the client-approved inspection and test plan, installation at the refinery, and commissioning. Parsian is one of four refineries receiving metering systems under this programme; each is recorded as its own project because each is delivered, inspected and commissioned against the requirements of its own facility.
Scope of work
Systems and delivery
The Parsian scope is for a measurement system delivered as an engineered package: SKP is responsible for the assembly and for its performance as one system, rather than for individual meters. Meter technologies and equipment makes are fixed by the project's approved engineering documentation and are not published here.
Inspection runs against a single plan agreed with the employer and the consultant, so that what is witnessed in the workshop and what is witnessed at the refinery are the same set of tests.
