The Khangiran refinery at Sarakhs, in Razavi Khorasan — the only facility in this programme in north-eastern Iran. SKP supplies, integrates, tests, installs and commissions its gas metering systems.
Project overview
Shahid Hasheminejad Gas Refinery — widely known as the Khangiran refinery — lies in the Sarakhs area of Razavi Khorasan Province, in north-eastern Iran. Sanat Khat va Palayesh (SKP) supplies its metering systems under the national programme for refinery measurement systems, with the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company as main employer and Tarh Andishan Consulting Engineers as consultant.
It is the only facility in the programme in north-eastern Iran; the other three lie in the south and the west. SKP's scope matches the other metering sites: package supply, integration, inspection and testing to the client-approved inspection and test plan, and installation and commissioning at the refinery.
Scope of work
Systems and delivery
The Shahid Hasheminejad scope is for a measurement system delivered as an engineered package: SKP is responsible for the assembly and for its performance as one system, rather than for individual meters. Meter technologies and equipment makes are fixed by the project's approved engineering documentation and are not published here.
Inspection runs against a single plan agreed with the employer and the consultant, so that what is witnessed in the workshop and what is witnessed at the refinery are the same set of tests.
